The Gaîté Palace, formerly a large neighborhood cinema, which in 2006 became Le Générateur, a center for art and creation, belongs to this category of venues. The building represents an important episode in Gentilly’s local history, the very special history of a public that has come to its walls from generation to generation to be entertained, to meet, to dream.
Yesterday with intense cinematic activity, today with programming dedicated to the multiple forms of contemporary artistic creation, an exhibition and free tours during these European Heritage Days represent a bridge between what the Gaîté Palace was for over 50 years and the Générateur today.
The first event of the 2022-2023 artistic season, this open house also gives the venue’s team the opportunity to present its program for the coming months!
