FUTURA EXPERIENCE
Long before they were stirred up by a cursed castrating virus, France’s musical bays may have been stirred by the bubbling of strong minds, clever spirits and a power of invention that the word ‘prodigy’ alone wouldn’t be enough to sum up. This was the period known as the French Underground. Free jazz rubbed shoulders with rock, experimentation was as humorous as it was demanding, and politics took center stage. This Futura Experience is not just a testimony. Far from it. It’s the continuation of an idea initiated by Gérard Terronès, a shaper of records and adventures who passed away in 2017. The Futura Experience is continued here by a group of musicians where the human element is the motto, freedom the rule, and the pleasure of playing together a commitment.
