Half-life aesthetic crisis, integrating attempts at shouting, strata of noise, lo-fi electro explorations and variations of velocity kicks. Disjointed pop songs driven mainly by fear and embarrassment, that know just as well how to get the legs moving on exquisite beats as how to bring them down a few seconds later under intense sinusoidal waves.
The debut album from Rébecca Bonté will be released shortly on the Tanzprocesz label.
Lostsoundbytes
Born in France, Brussels-born by adoption for 10 years, Lostsoundbytes is one of the load-bearing walls of Brussels’ DIY scene with his label Vastechoses.
His music is a sound design practice, based on analog synthesizers, modular systems, drum machines and field recording. From haunting downtempo electro to mutant dub/break, his music is constantly evolving, passing through dub, breakbeat, grime, industrial music, drone, ambient and noise.
