■ La fin des jours, le jour de toute fin – Catherine FROMENT
> 8pm

Accompanied by musician Aline Loustalot (live electroacoustic), Catherine Froment crosses spaces in front of us, that of the city that surrounds her, and that of her inner world. Despite numerous attempts at concealment, the performer finally decides to leave her home, as if drawn in by the outside world, and starts walking endlessly…

“At first, I hid under a bed. Then I hid under the furniture I’d dropped on myself, the chest of drawers, a mirror, the wardrobe. It’s very complex to drop all those things on yourself without hurting yourself. Now I hide in plain sight. The only thing I haven’t managed to hide yet are the emotions that suddenly rise up inside me and that I can’t contain.” </Catherine Froment

■ Micro-event n°51 – Tsuneko TANIUCHI
> 9:30pm

As with “Micro-evénement n°50 /Mon corps est politique”, presented at Le Générateur in 2019, Tsuneko Taniuchi once again summons the participants’ bodies and turns them into a site of resistance and combat: the body as subjectivity.

The artist stages political and social movements with the presence and actions of several participants from different backgrounds, whose bodies and movements differ from one another. Whether in their real lives or in an artistic venue, these performers confront the nationalism, machismo, fascismo and neo-liberalism of our society. Gestures, words, their bodies are their only defense.

At the 1stère edition of [ frasq ] in 2009, Tsuneko Taniuchi presented Micro-evénement n°37

Concept and direction: Tsuneko Taniuchi
Performers: Stan Briche, Mariama Dieng, Shahrzad Fathi, Yannick Gourvil, Emily Holmes, Elena Marshall, Aliénor de Mezamat. Ruthy Scetbon.
