For this evening, Le Lavoir Numérique – a new facility of the city of Gentilly – joins forces with Le Générateur. After a first part dedicated to a visit of the Lavoir Numérique site, the public is invited to discover at the Générateur a program that mixes projections and multimedia concert signed by the artists Laurent Melon, Simon Henocq & Romain Al’l.

Artist, friend and accomplice of Le Générateur since 2015, Laurent Melon presents his new Scoopitone Le Lavoir for the inaugural evening of Le Lavoir Numérique. In an ebullient and inspired way, he reveals the architecture, mission and orientations of this new Gentile structure dedicated to image and sound. A first event that also seals the beginning of an artistic partnership between two Gentilly structures that each champion the creation of today.

Concert – Multimedia installation
In the second half of the evening, make way for We Use Cookies, a ” set-up live ” where ruptures of form and unstable textures give shape to a radical sonic reality. From anarchic bruitism to electro-noise pulsations, Simon Henocq here composes rich textures of frequencies and beats in a musical construction that as it develops, constantly changes character.
From this sound architecture, Romain Al’l brilliantly proposes a visual expansion by deploying on the walls, which have become projection surfaces, and on the floor itself, a luminous staging.
The musician’s hand guided by the video artist’s spatial device gives We Use Cookies the dimensions of a sensory universe that can be described as immersive.
