On the occasion of its 29th anniversary, the TrAce Label is invited to the Générateur for a day that brings together a multitude of artists from the fields of poetry, experimental music and performance.
TrAce LabeL is an associative label founded in December 1993 by Guillaume Loizillon, Patrick Müller and Laurent Saïet.
The prevailing idea was to be able to create independently, and publish personal albums, as well as themed collective albums. Quite quickly, with an assumed eclecticism, several very distinct aesthetic axes emerged : electronic or electroacoustic music (Michèle Bokanowski, Christine Groult, Guillaume Loizillon, Patrick Müller), instrumental music (Hervé Zénouda), alternative rock (Mika Pusse, Thierry Müller, Laurent Saïet) ; sound poetry (Joël Hubaut, AC Hello, Julien Blaine, Sébastien Lespinasse); improvised music (Jac Berrocal, Jean-Noël Cognard, Jean-François Pauvros, Quentin Rollet).
With this common thread of delving into sound experimentation outside conventions and labels, while taking care with production quality and visuals.
To date, TrAce Label has 58 references in its catalog (CD, LP, DVD), not counting a few co-productions with other labels such as Bloc Thyristors.
TrAce Label has also regularly organized themed evenings in alternative venues such as L’Echangeur ; les Instants Chavirés or le Point éphémère.
