Festival Vision’R #13

Vision’R tends towards the characteristics of VJs (Video-Jockey, live image practitioners): creativity, in situ adaptation, polymorphism, nomadism, openness, curiosity, tecnologies, magics.
Vision’R VJ Festival was born thanks to the gathering and cooperation of VJ artists over 15 years ago to share VJ sets and audiovisual performances
FERTILITY – Sabina Covarrubias
FERTILITY, is a work of “Visual Music” by Sabina Covarrubias. In this work, the artist pays homage to the fertility of women and nature using “wet” sounds and images that seem to have a life of their own. The artist performs live music and images.
The artist generates visuals in real time from the sound she performs using a modular synthesizer and vocoder. In this work of visual music, there is plenty of room for improvisation.

PORTE NEF – Malo Lacroix & Maxime Aumon
(music by In Aeternam Vale)
Between narration and image, Porte Nef is a surreal and human adventure
with multiple renderings including live audio visual.
Maxime Aumon looks into the distance, towards the Siberian north.
He imagines his structure as a wingless plane crossing the Urals, pushed by humans.
A group of men set off, pushing the plane from Vorkuta, a former Gulag to Kharp, a penitentiary town in the polar Urals.
A walk of over 150 km in North Siberia a long way from Moscow, carried out in August 2017.
