Carte Blanche au LAP – Laboratoire des Arts de la Performance

The [ frasq ] meeting represents an ideal time to invite the LAP, a young collective dedicated like Le Générateur to all forms of research, as long as they are linked to performance.
For this carte blanche, Le LAP brings together a dozen performers and concocts a continuum of programming lasting several hours on the theme of ” la désobéissance “. Under the omnipresent sign of performance, it allows the public to discover new formats of action, approach, experimentation and play.
Founded by artist Nour Awada and propelled by the Carreau du Temple in 2018 and the art center Mains D’Oeuvres in 2019, the LAP is the first research laboratory in France dedicated exclusively to performative creation. To date, it supports over 80 researchers – visual artists, architects, poets, directors, actors, scientists – through monthly research sessions, participates in artistic events and regularly organizes workshops led by guest artists.
