Extended electric guitar, effects, no-input mixer for one, alto and sopranino saxophones, Korg Monotron, effects for the other.
Quentin Rollet began playing alto saxophone at the age of 11 and sopranino saxophone at 37. After a few years spent unlearning conservatory teaching, he devoted himself solely to free improvisation.
This led him to appear on record or on stage with groups as varied as Nurse With Wound, Prohibition, The Red Krayola, Mendelson,David Grubbs, Herman Dune, Akosh S. Unit…
After ten years producing records for the Rectangle label, in 2015 he set up, withIsabelle Magnon, the BISOU label.
Xavier Mussat devoted an early life to drawing and graphic novels from an autobiographical, experimental and improvised angle.
The need to practice inventive art in “real time” led him to develop both a more intuitive drawing practice and to explore sound on amplified guitar.
