Aurola Győrfy is a performance and visual artist whose practice explores the shifting boundaries between body art, participatory strategies, and documentary art.
Born in Budapest in 2000, Aurola Győrfy currently lives and works between Paris and Berlin. In 2022, they graduated from ELTE University in Budapest, where they studied literature and film theory. During their studies, they exhibited at the Trafó Gallery and won a film award at the Media Wave Film Festival in 2022. After graduating, they studied film and new media at the UdK in Berlin. Their work has been exhibited at the Culterim Gallery (2024) and Kudamm69 (2025) in Berlin. They performed at the Theaterforum Kreuzberg, Berlin (2026), Studio DB, Berlin (2025), the Observatorio del Place, Barcelona (2025), and the Senat Gallery, Bucharest (2025). In 2024, they were awarded an artist residency at Culterim Biesenthal.
