Montse Aránega (Barcelona, 1997) is an artist-researcher, performer, and doctoral candidate in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and the University of Paris 8 Vincennes–Saint-Denis. Her practice lies at the intersection of performance, expanded drawing, and research-creation. Her research examines the performative potential of artistic practices as forms of producing embodied knowledge. Her work explores the relationships between the body, gesture, material, and temporality, conceiving artistic practice as a space for experience, thought, and transformation.
