Presentation of autofictional performances created in the context of a strong mobilization of students and teachers against pension reforms and the multi-year research programming law, which aims to manage the university like a business. These performances were conceived during the workshop proposed by Raphaëlle Doyon, a teacher-researcher in Theatre at the University of Paris 8 who works on gender issues, and by Biño Sauitzvy, performer, director, doctor in aesthetics and teacher at the University of Paris 8, the Académie Fratellini and the Norwegian Theatre Academy.
“Performances are both a place for experimenting with political, feminist and queer thinking, and a place for artistic practices that go beyond discourse. Indeed, we are convinced that the intelligence and imagination of feeling, acting and perceiving surprise our consciousness, unsettle our categories, and disfigure and reconfigure norms and power relations.”
This workshop, proposed by the Scènes du monde, création, savoirs critiques master’s program at Université Paris 8, has received the support of the ArTec University Research School, creation as a research activity.
