From sound and visual archives, Wilfried Wendling takes on and revisits D.W. Griffith’s mythical film Intolerance for the first time. For him, the theme of this masterful cinematic epic remains totally topical, and opportunely questions our contemporary society.
Some thirty loudspeakers, several real-time electroacoustic treatments, a prepared piano and 360° video projections transform the Générateur space into an immersive sound and visual installation. Bordering on the concert and the performance, INTOLERANCE Arkhéion#6 allows Wilfried Wendling, Frédéric Blondy and MOTUS to question our (in)differences.
