Closing of FRASQ, rencontre de la performance
Melodrama directed by Alberto Sorbelli

A celebration? A work of art? The story of this ball unfolds from morning to night, with characters, actors, entrances, exits and numerous coups de théâtre. The party builds to a crescendo. Whether you’re young or old, come along with your enthusiasm and your desire to party. Let yourself go in a physical and collective experience where words are no longer necessary…

Le Générateur, following the success of last year’s Bal Rêvé, renews its confidence in Alberto Sorbelli. Between Tragedy and Burlesque, between Feast and Spectacle, Le Bal Rêvé is for him, a way of thinking about art and society, the relationships they engender, no longer from their fixity, but from the movement they generate.
Le Bal Rêvé deux mille quatorze celebrates conviviality. Subtle sharing between self and others where sensibilities weave, unravel and telescope. All in all, a true breath of freedom. Alberto Sorbelli is an author who resists all labels, and works according to the rules of (his) art. Undisciplined, he is. And then some: biting, irritating, rebellious, but always generous. Like an intermission in our lives, Le Bal Rêvé is the possibility of a “livelier” present, where fragments of life emerge as onomatopoeia of the real. Alberto Sorbelli takes on the task of freeing the spontaneity of a society on probation, plunging us into a time assigned to everyday life, which he transfigures. An original way of surprising us, propelling us out of our comfort zone.
The unpredictable can emerge from this popular banquet. At a party, anything can happen!
