On May 7, at Le Générateur in Gentilly, this film will give rise to an immersive screening-performance conceived as a living extension of that event. But it will not be merely a screening in the usual sense. During the film, certain gestures, certain presences, and certain wanderings will reappear within the space of Le Générateur, in connection with the images, and new gestures will emerge. Not to reproduce, but to extend. Not to replay an evening, but to shift the experience. B.Painted Projected thus proposes a form that is at once cinematic, performative, and collective, situated between active memory, live presence, and reactivation. With the support and guidance of Le Générateur and Le Petit Bassin, directed by Julie Destombes.  Event open to the public, pay-what-you-wish. Ensemble /K/inêtikos, Léa Bridarolli, and Eneas Vaca Bualo Bernard Bousquet

Last August, the B Painted Show Version XXL, at the Roger Le Gall swimming pool, brought about something rare: an Olympic-sized pool drained of its water, filled with fifty bodies, movements, presences, costumes by Bernard Bousquet, live music by reïne99, choreographed movements by the Ensemble /K/inêtikos, and an extraordinary collective energy.
