Echoing his reading-performance on October 14 around his book Vide sanitaire, François Durif invites the public to the Générateur (Rdv at 11am on Saturday, October 16) to take them along with him, weaving threads between places we don’t often associate : the Gentilly Cemetery, the PPPPXIII (Poterne des peupliers bowls club) and rue Francis-de-Miomandre.
” As these places appear in the background of certain moments in the story Vide sanitaire, I propose that we survey them together and verify on the spot the visual clues that set my imagination in motion. It’s an opportunity to revisit Foucault’s notion of heterotopia – and the characteristics of these urban counter-spaces in which I’ve found shelter.”
