RESEARCH AND CREATION WORKSHOP ON DIFFERENT TYPOLOGIES OF SPEECH AND THEIR CHORAL AND MUSICAL POTENTIAL
Registration deadline: February 22, 2016
For all music, singing and acting enthusiasts aged 16 and over.
Anne-Laure Pigache and Anne-Julie Rollet take an interest in everyday speech to create music and poetics. They propose a creative and collective musical practice that culminates in the creation of a choir of spoken, noisy and sung voices.
These 3-day workshops are an opportunity to explore the voice through sound poetry and directed improvisations.
The aim is to make a link between conversation and choral singing, and to let the choral potential of conversations, personal words, intimate words, accents and linguistic expressions be heard.
This workshop represents a privileged moment to share the artistic challenges of creating les pourparlers. A sound poetry performance for multiple voices by Anne-Laure Pigache presented at the generator on May 10, 2016 as part of the 16th edition of the Extension festival.
