For this new carte blanche, Le Générateur is pleased to welcome proposals from Yassine Boussaadoun, Nadia Vadori-Gauthier, Jeanne Bathilde and Sarah Venturi.
- La cinemate(c)
Yassine Boussaadoun
Installation – Videoperformance
It is by looking for ways to circumvent the rules of the derogatory travel certificate established by the authorities that Yassine Boussaadoun here poses the question of the use of performance during our so-called “non-essential” activities.
The need to exist outside the rules being for him a driving factor of creation, Yassine Boussaadoun proposes with la cinémate(c) four films at the frontiers of insolence through visual games on order and rules. Four video-performances with competitive features that play on federal prescriptions. Because the primary aim is to produce by diverting the ban on exercise through physical activities.
- I light up my skin at night
Nadia Vadori-Gauthier
Sound poetry and music
Music : Victor Pavel
“I’m a molecular girl, a dancer of the void, I invest matter as one makes a pact, eternity trembles with love on the threshold of a dance floor, a ballroom where we embrace the invisible, I capsize on the reverse side of me…”
Nadia Vadori-Gauthier
When she’s not dancing Une minute de danse par jour, Nadia Vadori-Gauthier is chanting words from what has no image. Accompanied live by musician Victor Pavel, she activates thresholds at the edge of unconsciousness and consciousness to say what she doesn’t yet know. She weaves shadow and body, searches for gold in the heart of matter, speaks to the Earth, to the night, to live. It is from this home that she attempts to speak these images that populate and undo her.
- Letter from a cosmonaut on his return
Jeanne Bathilde
Performance
Music : Nathalie Forget
For this second performative edition ” d’entièrement je et nous ” – performance for more than one – Jeanne Bathilde invites Nathalie Forget, queen of the ondes Martenot, in a vegetal and spatial drift of language; it will be a musical, poetic and danced drift, a drift that invites everyone in History to pay attention, to what we might think mute, and which – if we look hard enough – can also have a lot to say.
- Lakshmi’s canvases
Sarah Venturi
Performance
Following on from her series Les toiles (paintings, since 2009), Sarah Venturi presents Les toiles de Lakshmi, a performance with the symbol of the Hindu goddess ” en bandoulière ” to above all experience a new exploration of painting and put her touches to the evening’s tableau.
