Le Générateur presents for the first time in France: Internatinal Performance Group.

INSOMNIA features the following artists: Lotte Linder, Till Steinbrenner, Mirko Winkel, Doreen Uhlig, Melati Suryodarmo, Oliver Blomeier, Ivan Civic, Herma Auguste Wittstock, Eun Hye Hwang, Nezaket Ekici, Anna Berndtson, Davide Balliano.
A project specially conceived for this Nuit Blanche, INSOMNIA, a 6-hour continuous performance, brought together 13 artists for 7 performance concepts chosen by Marina Abramovic. Visible simultaneously in the Générateur hall, the audience moved around as if in an exhibition, bypassing, lingering over and observing each of the moving performances at their leisure.
The seemingly sophisticated subjects gradually reveal themselves to be accessible and emotionally charged….
Around 500 people attended the Générateur, confirming the interest of a wide public in performance art….
