Part performance, part sculpture, STILL MOVING is a further step in the emotional, multi-sensory materialization of the digital world.
STILL MOVING is an imposing sculpture in terms of its dimensions, as it is intended to be palpated, touched and caressed by as many people as possible. Made from composite materials, STILL MOVING is a veritable work of high-tech lutherie.
At its heart, a search engine analyzes the simultaneous emotional state of 3,200 metropolises on the Internet. To convey this emotional state to us, STILL MOVING is not listened to with the ears, that would be too easy, but resonates our hollow body cavities with its generous infrabasses.

Touching, palpating, listening, feeling with our bodies dialoguing with our guts. STILL MOVING transmits to us what she sees, feels, perceives of the world felt by the network. Vibrating with all her transducers located in the thickness of her soft skin, STILL MOVING comes to life at our touch and reveals to the touch the state of the world’s emotions. It offers us its sense organs where ours become irrelevant. Even our avatars are sparsely equipped with sensory organs, STILL MOVING ressing our presence, at its touch it’s the world that touches us.

STILL MOVING will be presented on November 14/15/16 at the Grand Palais (Paris) during the “European City of Science” event organized by the French Ministry of Research.
