Nous courons à toute vitesse
From May 4 to July 14, 2024, Le Générateur presents Nous courons à toute vitesse, a program of visual arts and performance with free admission as part of La Métropolitaine, the international contemporary art event of the Greater Paris Metropolis.
With a program that purposely blends the visual and performing arts, the aim is to reflect on the poetic and philosophical potentials that link or distinguish the artistic gesture from a sporting practice. As a counterpoint to the general race in which we all find ourselves (economic, media, productivist), We’re running at full speed invites us to take the time, to contemplate, to feel, to meet artists-researchers for whom the link, care, listening, doing together, the ecology of means, are at the heart of their creation.
L’Effort, le monde, a new work and installation by Jacques Perconte, is a long-distance cinematic journey (2h of film without beginning or end; 25m long in a single image) that exalts the high mountains and the presence of two women with a passion for climbing. more info
As amused or critical observers of the Olympic Games, artists Yassine Boussaadoun, Jens Denissen & Maëlle Tardivel, Elizabeth Saint-Jalmes, Alexandra Riss, and the collective Show your FRASQpropose, for their part, other modes of presence, play and dialogue with sport during the 6 performance dates scheduled on May 18-19, May 26, June 9, June 23 and July 14.
